Been active on NG for a month now, the first time I've posted anywhere publicly in 2 years. It was a rocky month, first I was stressing out about not being scouted for a while there, but that finally happened *phew*. But now that I am an 'Approved Artist', although the views on my artworks have increased, a new elephant has entered the room: The users of NG have spoken and they don't think I am worth following or that my art is worth faving.

So atm I'm leaning towards cancelling my NG adventure after a mere month. It's a shame because this is the only site I can stand to post on; it stands against AI slop, you can post multiple images in a single submission, I don't have to be censoring my work all the time, I can post other media such as updates of my RPG-Maker game here, and it's a proper art site with an easy to navigate gallery, not just some Twitter-like feed that's hard to see older posts on. It ticks all my boxes for how an art site should be. But if almost no one likes my work, that's just too discouraging. I know I'm not super pro or a world class artist, but I have put a lot of time into my art, I simply don't see how my work is THAT bad to be so heavily disregarded.

Anyways i guess i will leave the page and art up for a little while longer but dunno if I'll post anymore pieces and will probably close my account soon and go back to being a full-hermit artist.. Genuine thanks to the 5 or so people who followed me and liked my work >.<
